Scholars from Concepcion University verified the miracle was a body of gemstone which burned up upon entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

Q: what is meteorite?

This composition is about debris from space that survives impact with the ground. For other uses, see Meteorite( disambiguation).

The 60- tonne,2.7 m-long(8.9 ft) long Hoba meteorite in Namibia is the largest known complete meteorite.( 1)

A meteorite is a solid piece of debris from an object, similar as a comet, asteroid, or meteoroid, that originates in external space and survives its passage through the atmosphere to reach the face of a earth or moon. When the original object enters the atmosphere, colorful factors similar as disunion, pressure, and chemical relations with the atmospheric feasts beget it to toast up and radiate energy. It also becomes a meteor and forms a dynamo, also known as a firing star; astronomers call the brightest exemplifications" bolides". Once it settles on the larger body's face, the meteor becomes a meteorite. Meteorites vary greatly in size. For geologists, a bolide is a meteorite large enough to produce an impact crater.( 2)

Meteorites that are recovered after being observed as they conveyance the atmosphere and impact the Earth are called meteorite falls. All others are known as meteorite finds.

Meteorites have traditionally been divided into three broad orders stony meteorites that are jewels, substantially composed of silicate minerals; iron meteorites that are largely composed of ferronickel; and stony- iron meteorites that contain large quantities of both metallic and rocky material. ultramodern bracket schemes divide meteorites into groups according to their structure, chemical and isotopic composition and mineralogy. Meteorites lower than 2 mm are classified as micrometeorites. Extraterrestrial meteorites have been set up on the Moon and on Mars.
