Gautam Adani now richer than Bill Gates, becomes world's 4th richest man and fastest growing billionaire on earth

Adani Group principal Gautam Adani has come the world’s 4th richest person with a net worth of$115.5 billion, surpassing Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates, according to Forbes' Real- Time Billionaires List. 

 

 As per Forbes data, Adani's fortune surged by$2.9 billion, thanks to sharp run- up in Adani Group stocks and Gates said last week that he'd be giving$ 20 billion of his wealth to hisnon-profit organisation — Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 

 Following the donation, Bill Gates has slipped just one spot to be the fifth richest in the world, worth an estimated$ 102 billion. 

 

 In April, when Adani came the fifth richest person with a wealth of around$ 123 billion, he was around$ 7 billion short of Microsoftco-founder Bill Gates, who was the fourth richest person in the world at the time with a fortune of$130.2 billion. 

As per the Bloomberg Billionaires' Index data, Gautam Adani has made$21.1 billion in time- to- date( YTD) terms whereas Elon Musk's net worth grew by$1.1 billion during the Q4 last time, back when he was 11th rihest man on earth
