Another common civilian: Maharashtra chemist murdered for supporting Nupur Sharma, similar to Udaipur's killing

A medical professional was reportedly guillotined in Maharashtra's Amravati for participating a social media post in support of now suspended BJP prophet Nupur Sharma who had made controversial reflections against Prophet Muhammed.

The incident took place on 21 June, a week before Udaipur's payoff.

Original disquisition by the City Kotwali Police Station in Amravati following a complaint by Umesh Kohle’s son Sanket Kohle led them to arrest two persons Muddsir Ahemad, 22, and Shahrukh Pathan, 25, on June 23. Their interrogation revealed the involvement of four further persons, of which three — Abdul Thoufik, 24, Shoaib Khan, 22, and Atib Rashid, 22 — were arrested on June 25. One Shamim Ahmed Firoz Ahmed is lamming.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra ATS platoon is in Amravati to probe the matter. ATS sources said that they're probing whether there's any terror angle in the case. The ATS is also probing whether same pattern was used by the Amravati indicted as the Udaipur indicted.

In the Udaipur killing case, a shocking disclosure was made when it turned out that motorcycle used for escape by the indicted in Udaipur knitter murder case had" 2611" as its enrollment number, a possible reference to the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. To gain this specific number, the indicted had paid Rs 5000 to the Regional Transport Office( RTO).

The indicted, who killed Kanhaiya Lal over a post supporting Nupur Sharma, were caught in the Bhim area by the Rajsamand Police hours after the incident. The indicted have been transferred to 14- day judicial guardianship.
